    I then switched decks to what I think is the most attractive deck in my collection. I failed to notice that it was a direct drive which makes it my 2nd direct drive in my collection, the other one being a Yamaha K-1000 .

    I finally got one of my decks back from the technician after more than a year in the shop. Its a C300, Yamaha's totl and their best deck they ever built. I kicked the tires and it seems to play fine
