REW's built-in high-pass adds phase shift, is there any way to remove dc but keep the phase?

according to rew, it's just 1.4 over 32767. I think that the full-scale input is about 1 Vpk, so the offset is 40 microvolts, which is way less than i'd expect from even just the opamps i've added to have a balanced input with phantom power. I just didn't expect that such a tiny offset would be...

REW's built-in high-pass adds phase shift, is there any way to remove dc but keep the phase?

Hi! I'm rtying to measure emitted acoustic energy by a subwoofer (vs frequency, of course) by measuring the cone velocity (with an accelerometer), pressure (with a microphone), and scalar-multiplying them to obtain the energy. I expect one to be pretty close to 90deg phase-shifted relative to...

    "Change Cal" button missing

same data?... hmm, that raises some questions with my setup, it should in theory only be in the left channel. I'll check later.

    "Change Cal" button missing

okay, but you can mark the average as no-cal if all the sources are no-cal, so that i can load a cal file after the fact... this is my workflow anyway, as i'm already having trouble to keep track of inputs and labeling while measuring, and i don't want to add another "do not forget" item...

    "Change Cal" button missing

please add it if possible. I understand that one could need different cals for each mic, but my mic array has mics similar enough to use a single cal file for all of them. I'll do math now then. Or maybe remeasure.

    "Change Cal" button missing

did that, to no avail. I have played with it a bit more, and i do see the button for some other measurements. I consistently do not see it for multichannel-averaged measurements. The "my mics" one on the screenshot is indeed a multichannel one, but the "dayton mic" is not supposed to be. I...

    "Change Cal" button missing

Hi! How do i change mic cal for an existing measurement? According to the docs, there should be a "change cal" button on the flap below a measurement on the panel on the left, but it is missing for me in v5.20.14 and 5.20.13

What averaging is used for multi-input capture?

Hello! I have recently bought the pro upgrade, built a multi-mic system for polar pattern measurement, and i'm now trying to calculate the total emitted energy response. I've run into three questions. 1) what averaging is used by REW for multi-input measurement? Is it an average of complex...

    Hyperbolic sweep support?

Well, that only goes to show i have little idea of what's going on under the hood in rew, i suppose =) Thanks for your reply.

    Hyperbolic sweep support?

Hi! Log sweeps are nice, but the results it generates have excessive resolution in the high frequencies and poor resolution in the low end, forcing me to do long measurements to have a decent bass response accuracy in the measurement. Hyperbolic sweeps are better in that regard, they have a...

Error calculating Thiele-small parameters - resonances too close

Sorry about the noise, that was exactly the problem! I didn't even know it's changeable. Thanks!
