(June 18, 2024) Friend of AV NIRVANA and forum member Brett Bjorkquist wears many hats. Most of you will probably recognize him from time spent working for some of the industry's biggest names: Monster, VOXX, Logitech, Bowers & Wilkins, and – most recently – Kaleidescape. He's also served as a volunteer Co-chair for CEDIA and won multiple Quest for Quality awards for training/support. To put it lightly, Brett's knowledge base is vast, his passion for AV is insatiable, and his personality is one-of-a-kind. For those of you who have interacted with him on the forums, then you know his positive nature is infectious. And having gotten to know him personally, I'm happy to report that he is, in fact, one of the friendliest folk around.

In recent years, Brett has embarked on two innovative ventures. The first, MRKTMKR, is a pioneering firm that guides brands through the market and fosters connections with dealers and consumers. The second, a YouTube channel named FAQnatics, is a platform where Brett shares his extensive knowledge and taps into the expertise of industry leaders. The content is diverse, spanning a wide range of topics, including AV, integration, home theater, and other subjects that warrant a deep dive.

One of his recent content releases is a review of Bowers & Wilkins' Px7 S2e Headphones, where the expert is none other than Bjorkquist himself. He explains, "I have a deep familiarity with this product, having led the Px7 S2 redesign project for Bowers & Wilkins after developing a comprehensive strategy that secured the redesign’s approval. However, our California offices were shut down in 2020, shortly before the company was sold to Sound United, so this is my first opportunity to experience the Px7 S2e firsthand and on my own dime."

The review is released as a written article, available to read at AVNation.tv, and as a video on the FAQnatics' YouTube channel – I suggest checking both out... and give FAQnatics a sub while you're there! Bjorkquist gives great insights into the Px7 S2e and its competition but also pulls back the curtain, so to speak, and dives into design considerations like clamp force, weight, and build materials. It's a fantastic attack that greatly benefits from his time spent at Bowers & Wilkins.

Here's the exciting part – not only can you learn about the Px7 S2e, but you also have a chance to win a FREE pair, courtesy of FAQnatics. These headphones are valued at $400, making this an opportunity you don't want to miss.

So, if you want to have some fun, read the review or watch the video... then roll the dice and enter to win some sweet new gear!
