I just did measurements for the first time for two rooms.

I'm needing help to make sense of how I need to add additional treatment to fix issues. I was already planning to hang some clouds in my living room.
Attached is a photo of the living room with the treatment that has already been done, along with measurements and the measurement file.

I used the Dayton Audio UMM-6 USB mic for measurements from listening position 1
Any help on what I need to do would be fantastic. I wasn't sure how to be able to test the cross over from Sub to Mains on the test, so it is just a full system test of L+R

This room is primarily listening to and playing music. Some music recording will be happening in the space (trumpet solo up to quartet with piano and rums. I do watch movies maybe 30% of the time, but not primary focus of the space.

I'll post the office measurements in another post

Here's the test for my office. This room is small. 10'1" long, 9'3" wide. Speakers are 2' off front wall on stands, and 27" from each side wall. Listening position is 6' from the front wall. 9' tall ceilings.
I just have 242's behind speakers and one on each side wall. I have a 244 with refractor on the front on the back wall behind where I sit.

I do have plans to put at least one cloud up above my desk. I will also most likely need some bass traps at least on the front wall corners. Not sure how else to best treat this space.

I primarily WFH in this space and also use it for mixing.

I would toss in a couple more Bass absorbers and a few more wide band absorbers into your living room... As a space used for live and/or recording you would want it to be a touch lively... A few wide band absorbers could be on gobos/stands to move around as needed...

As for your office... Much more Bass traps/absorbers and some more wide band absorbers... Corners, ceiling, walls...

I need help making sense of your mdat file! Seems like you have some of them mislabeled. A lot of L measurements and only a couple of R measurements, and one of the L ones looks like an R but it's not as similar to the other R as the other L measurements are to each other. We don't need the combined L+R duo, so we can ignore those two...

What I can tell:

It looks like your ceiling needs clouds, as you have said.

The reflections at 3.59ms are probably coming from the floor, or possibly a table, in front of you. Everything before 4ms looks pretty symmetrical.
I'd guess that the reflections at 9.8ms are coming from the ceiling, again, matching reflections in both responses indicate symmetry.
I don't know what the smaller spike in front of the main pulse is. Possibly the subwoofer? It's only in the two L+R measurements and this one in my screenshot that you have marked L. I have never seen a spike before the main pulse like that before.

In the pictures here I have pointed out what I referred to. The reflection that I labeled "asymmetric" in green is one that only shows up there from this speaker. Since it isn't in the other response, this indicates that the problem could only be on one side of the room, somewhere between the floor and ceiling in terms of distance. Logical, right?

The little reflection at 25.1ms is likely your rear wall, since it is the same in both responses.

I'm not 100% sure about any of these suppositions I have made, but from my experience with this, those are my educated guesses. You should aim to get rid of those spikes that are above 10% on this graph. That's the first goal I'd have.
