Pink Noise setup and which to change for car audio?

Hi John i plan to do RTA for car audio purpose. Someone told me that i must play pink noise that also from REW to get better result. So my questions are:

1. What pink noise should i save? Random one or periodic

2. From default setting on REW if i use UMIK-1 as RTA microphone. What else should i change?

3. How about the RTA setting must i change something?
