I have a full AL system setup and would like to run my TV through my 2 ch system. Currently, the TV is connected to a NUC via HDMI and the NUC is connected to the Motu Mk 5 which I use Roon with the FIR.

What is the best easiest way to use my audio system so I can get my TV through my speakers?

That’s what I’ve been doing in several systems for years. I have two configurations.

The first is to take the TV sound in by the sound card and use al convolver in standalone mode. Tap the audio directly from the decoder if possible.

The second, which is what I prefer most of the time, is to watch web tv. I use jriver … with the wdmaudio driver enabled to feed all pc sound to the Al convolver, including TV.

And I use Asio4all on sound cards that doesn’t have their own Asio driver.

Jriver + Al Convolver + any sound card + Asio4All (if needed) is a very stable configuration.
