We had a great time with Hisense's execs and engineers discussing the advancement of all of their new 2024 portable long throw and UST projectors that will all be 3D capable and use active 3D glasses. We took them on a tour of our new suite of 16 Cinema demo rooms.

We will be the 1st US dealer to get the new 2024 PRO-3!

Here's a quick update on my 1st impressions after watching 2+ hours of 3D content:

Although all 3D Blu-ray discs are 1080p resolution the image quality looks like native 4K as the original film was mastered in. I assume it's partly due to that we are seeing two frames at the same time on the left and right lenses of the 3D glasses so the perception of what we are seeing looks exactly like 4K HDR, but with the real to life depth and realism.

Hisense's new flagship PX3-Pro UST renders excellent quality 3D that greatly enhances my engagement with all of the 3D content we've watched so far. For now we're mostly watching the original Avatar 3D, and a little of Shrek 3D.

Tomorrow I'll try the following 3D Blu-ray discs, TITANIC, and just for fun I'll play some of YOGI BEAR 3D!
