Tom Cruise back at it again lol. I really enjoyed the audio the jets taking off were shaking the couch. Barnes and Nobles had a lot of deals some comparable to Amazon prices

I’ve seen some people write how much they didn’t like it and advised others to not waste their money. I mean, to each their own, but the A/V makes it a must buy in my opinion, and I really enjoyed the story as well. Definitely a rewatchable flick!

Do you always download the 4K SDR as well as the HDR? I used to pre-Lumagen.

My Point Break is apparently about 7 stops away.

I don't know. I always had to manually download the SDR version so I could compare how my older projector would look vs the HDR version and then delete the one I didn't intend to watch.

That’s weird. My system auto downloads all versions at the same time. :gah:

Seeing the original Blues Brothers movie on a ProLogic sound system is the thing that sparked my interest in home theater. The horns of She Caught the Katy popping into the surround channels in the opening scene blew my mind.

Okay, we watched this last night.

The 4K is a slight improvement over the HD version in Kaleidescape. There is very limited need for HDR or Dolby Vision. And the audio sounds exactly like the mix on the bluray.

This was a waste of $30 IMO. I will likely keep it on the shelf and go to the Kaleidescape version when I want to watch, based on the convenience. There's not enough gains on this disc to make it worthwhile IMO. Really shocking considering all the drooling about the video encode when this was released. I wonder if that group of reviewers had actually ever seen the blu-ray or if they just wanted to make the biggest noise about a Shout! release that is still not available on Kaleidescape.

Disappointing. Save yourself a few bucks and stick with the bluray.
