Is there a way to measure the delay caused by the Bluetooth (or other wireless standards) processing and transmission using REW, either for speakers or headphones? I thought It should be possible if distance is known. How could one achieve this ?
So I setup a loopback channel so that rew knows when the sweep starts (connecting one of the channel outputs in the inputs of the audio interface and selecting it as the loopback channel), then I set a timing ofset to eliminate the time of flight delay. After that what I should see in the inpulse response is the IR Ref set using the loopback channel and time till the IR start should be the Bluetooth delay? You would need to provide a loopback timing reference channel to allow the delay to be measured.
