A Texas-based retailer is taking sales online, and are sponsoring our podcast for a few episodes, offering the following deal:

"Texas HiFi, an exciting new online destination for all of your home theater and HiFi needs, launching in early 2025.

To celebrate its debut, Texas HiFi is kicking off a December sale you won’t want to miss—get 50% off Dirac Live Room Correction and Bass Control licenses. These are available for select Denon and Marantz AVRs, as well as for Mac and PC users running home theater or media center setups. That’s a crazy good deal that delivers significant savings to you.

Visit TexasHiFi.com to learn more about this limited-time offer, and stay tuned for their grand launch! Look for them to feature top brands like JVC, Sony, Emotiva, MartinLogan and so many more, along with advantages like price matching and free shipping."

Pretty good savings if you have equipment that matches what they are selling the licenses for. Hopefully this will help out a member or two!

That's a great deal... woo-hoo! :T

I don't think you'll find anything remotely better, outside of buying some used gear on the market that comes with Dirac activated and built-in.

I see users on the fence from time to time about whether to add Bass Control due to the cost. There has never been a better time than now.

Wow! That's an awesome deal. Ready to pull the trigger on base control but I don't see anything on Texashifi.com about it. Anyone know any details? Specifically wondering can I buy it for my Pioneer VSX-LX805 (or only for Denon and Marantz which were explicitly mentioned by Todd). And, is the deal available now or is it only gonna be available in December? I called Texas Hifi but couldn't get through. Emailed and will post any info I get back if someone else doesn't already know the specifics here.

I think email is probably the way to go… but let me chat with them and make sure!

Hi, please let me know if there is any update on the Dirac Live 50% deal on TexasHifi site.

I'm hoping so too... I'll give my last email to them a little bump.

Anyone hear back from Texas HiFi? @Jefferad @jayD

I had extensive conversations with them prior to sponsoring the last two episodes of the podcast, and they've since gone silent. I'm confused like you... hoping that everything is ok on their end. I'll keep trying to get a response so you guys can take advantage of the deal!

Unfortunately no. No response to my email and I haven't been able to get through to them on the phone either. Though honestly, I haven't tried since the first couple of days since my post. I pulled the trigger on the 20% discount for Black Friday directly through DIRaC. Figured it was kind of a bird in hand situation. On a side note, I absolutely love what the addition of bass control has done. Got rid of my mini DSP that had been dialing in the bass previously. Big fan.

Bass control is a big step up over the minidsp route in terms of processing complexity. You have a great system, Jeff!
