Hi all, happy to be here
Need some help configuring REW in Windows 10 x64 22H2 build 19045.5371, RME FF802 FS, Umik-1.
Unfortunately I'm getting "Unable to access the selected device" error for both input and output devices using Java drivers. No error with ASIO but I need to use Umik together with RME interface.
Any help? Cannot see REW among the apps which I can give permission to use mic (windows privacy), Could be a privacy problem? or maybe a driver problem and should I download a full java version?
Tried all that I could (selecting different frequency, unchecking exclusive access in windows audio control panel input and output...)
Please help me, tomorrow need to calibrate my brand new sub. Never had such problems in the past with REW. Attached screenshot of the errors and logs.
Thanks in advance

EDIT: Ended up using 32bit version with separated Java installation without problems with devices:woohoo:

Might also have been fixed by selecting the WASAPI exclusive driver entries, the device names starting EXCL.

Unfortunately, no wasapi driver option, only Java and ASIO 😌
Getting warning message at startup that my 64bit OS needs 64bit REW. May I ignore this and go ahead without problems?

Yes, you can ignore it. The WASAPI exclusive drivers are part of the Java options, they are the device names that start EXCL.

almost 100% sure I’ve tried all the options listed under the Java menu without success. Will stay with 32bit ftm.
Thanks for support!
