When I measure, what type of speaker should I use? I have a speaker with a frequency range of 55Hz to 40kHz, and 120W which is directional.
Should I use this or an omnidirectional speaker ?

You can measure whatever speaker you want...

If you are measuring a very large space then an omni dodecahedron is recommended, but that is the realm of professional acoustics and professional budgets.
