I found this on Pinterest... A lot of awesome looking speakers, some of which bring up a question...some are 2 speakers taking up the whole wall, what happens to imaging withe a wall to wall stereo Setup? If this is in the wrong area please move it.

Click on the link below the pic( after clicking on the pinterest link) to see a ton of speakers.

I see a lot of different speakers there... not sure which one you are referring to. You can copy and paste the image here if you would like.

The first page had some nice ones..
The really nice ones are after page 180. I will see if I can figure out the page number. One that I saw was literally 2 speakers wall to wall.

It depends on the room acoustics as well as the design of the speakers. Imaging on something that takes up the entire wall would be lousy unless you sit quite a ways back from them. My current EVs that I have in my theater are designed to be placed right against a wall and thats how I have used them for years even when they were in the studio we sat only about 5 ft from them.
If the tweeters are placed as far apart as they can be that will also help with imaging. There is often alot of thought going into a setup with a full wall of two speakers. Where I dont see it working well is if the user has more than one set of speakers that are clearly not made by the same manufacturer. I suspect it may have more to do with "coolness factor" than functionality.

These are quite interesting, to say the least. I have yet to find any page numbers, though. The link just displays the page in Sonnie's post above.

If you look closely, you'll see that the high frequency drivers have plenty of room between them. The bass horns do not carry a lot of left/right information.

This pair below are placed close together for the picture.

Not sure...maybe you have to have a Pinterest account to see the Pages? There are 307 pages with the most amount of images per page after you hit page 150.

Thank you, Negatron! Can you say, "hit the nail on the head"? It worked after I created an account. :T

Can't be sure of the page number, but one of the speakers resembles a Heil AMT-1 model my brother once owned. Cool memory! Lots of esoteric eye candy for sure!!

That explains it... I didn't realize it was only the high frequencies that had to be spaced out for soundstage.

I am rocking a single subwoofer (JTR Captivator 118 HT) placed off to the left right now and AV NIRVANA partner, Wayne Myers, just showed up to listen to it.
