(August 6, 2019) To streamline and simplify the process of optimizing an audio system’s performance, Acurus has released a new self-contained correction “kit” designed for use with Acurus branded processors. This particular kit is specifically designed with the custom integrator, forged to deliver ease of use and concrete results.
According to Indy Audio Labs Co-founder and CTO, Ted Moore: "It’s important to Acurus that we create solutions that speed up the install without compromising quality and the audio experience for our customers. Our immersive processors are well-known for their quick set up and now with ASPEQT, the job is even more straightforward and efficient.”
Moore says the new ASPEQT system is a tool that’s designed to be “fun to use,” stripping away tedium and making an otherwise mundane processes light, simple, and fast. Utilizing four microphones that send room-specific information to acquisition and analyzer components, the system communicates directly with Acurus branded processors, delivering automated adjustments that improve overall sound. And, in order to confirm or fine-tune improvements, users can easily perform an A/B comparison of pre- and post-calibration settings.
Indy Audio Labs says it will have the correction kit on display and set up for demonstration at the forthcoming CEDIA 2019 convention. Attendees will find this gear and more at Booth #1533.
