An album from our very own, the late Wayne Myers

During his visits here, Wayne shared with me that he had played in a band many years ago but never told me he had recorded any music. Ben, his son, sent this to me a few days ago and gave me permission to share it here on the forum. As Ben says, this is truly special.

Hi Sonnie, it's Ben, Wayne's son. I spent some time looking around my parents basement before I came home to Connecticut and by chance came across something pretty special. My dad recorded an entire original album in 1984 on cassette tape called Oranges and Lemons. I brought it home with me and bought a good tape deck and digitized the album. It's really good. He played all the parts, guitar, bass, keyboard, drums (think he had a synthesizer for some of the drums) and did all the vocals. Of course the audio quality is less than perfect coming from cassette and being 40 years old, but the recording is intact.
