Any alternatives to nanoDigi 2x8? Also, do I EQ on input or output?

I have the nanoDigi 2x8 that seems to be doing the job for now. I'm a little concerned that it may be irreplaceable because the current models do the EQ in the analogue domain meaning that their internal DAC's are a bottleneck in any system. Is there any other device out there that will do digital in/out EQ?

Also, the nanoDigi plugin has the option to eq the input or output. In my system I am EQing the entire signal universally into a single DAC. Where would I EQ in the plugin? Thanks!!!

It doesn't matter whether you EQ on the input path or the output path if you aren't using any crossover filters.
