Hi all.

I'm looking to (virtually) target the Mac OS AU Lab N-Band Equalizer as a REW equalizer selection. Does anyone know with certainty whether the parametric filter type within this AU Lab module utilizes a constant vs. proportional Q definition?

(I have driver EQ values defined according to the 'DCX 2496' proportional type Q definition, and am trying to determine whether I need to work out a translation to the 'Generic' fixed type Q definition.)

Just playing with the GUI for AUNBandEQ, it looks like a constant Q definition, but I was hoping for something a bit more definitive.

Many thanks for any pointers!

If you can make a loopback measurement through the equaliser with a few filter settings you can check the measurements against the REW filter shapes.
