(May 8, 2025)For the fourth year running, Audio Advice Live is headed back to downtown Raleigh, North Carolina—this time with even more demo rooms, gear, and experiential events designed to connect fans of great sound and picture with the latest in high-performance home entertainment.

Slated for August 1–3 at the Sheraton Hotel in Raleigh’s city center, this year’s event will again offer a unique opportunity for the public to experience over 60 rooms of stereo and home theater setups, including more than a dozen immersive audio systems. And while gear is the draw, the event also packs industry-led panel sessions, live musical performances, and plenty of face-to-face time with the minds behind the brands.

The exhibitor list includes a broad mix of heavyweights and specialist favorites—Sony, JVC, Epson, Samsung, McIntosh, Sonus faber, Bowers & Wilkins, Marantz, JBL Synthesis, SVS, KEF, Klipsch, Kaleidescape—and many more. Qobuz returns as the show’s official streaming sponsor, bringing high-res music to every room.

"Whether you’re just starting out or ready to upgrade, you won’t find any other consumer event with this caliber of home entertainment products, and this level of expertise and excitement, all in one location," said Scott Newnam, CEO of Audio Advice.

"Audio Advice Live 2024 was an electrifying celebration of music and sound," added Johnny Williams, Vice President & General Manager, Harman Consumer Audio. "It was an honor to join top audio brands and passionate fans in such a fun, high-energy atmosphere—truly a premier event for anyone who loves great audio."

Alongside product demos and hands-on tech experiences, attendees will have access to Deep Dive Sessions with brand reps and engineers throughout the weekend. Friday night’s lineup includes a special keynote address from Audio Advice’s Scott Newnam and a full concert at Raleigh’s historic Lincoln Theater, headlined by high-energy 12-piece band Sleepy Booty.

Ticket pricing is consumer-friendly—kids and students under 21 get in free—and admission covers the full slate of activities, including the Friday evening concert and keynote. Details are as follows:

I've never been to any of the big shows, but this event has plenty to see and is very reasonably priced. Fortunately I'm pretty local so I've been every year. The only bad thing is that I realized how much a room can make or break a demo. Other than the HT rooms and some larger featured rooms (Sonus Faber always has one) most of the rooms are small and not set up for sound reproduction. I'd hate to be really interested and have a bad room turn me off of something I might actually like. I'm so glad they moved the Kef Blades from that open "foyer" into a decent room. They sounded so bad the first 2 times I heard them and while they might or not be over priced, I certainly never believed they were a bad speaker. With all the hype around Perlisten I don't think I've heard them at their best yet either.
