(October 15, 2020) AudioQuest has officially launched its all-new 48G and eARC-Priority HDMI Cables, two series that boast AudioQuest’s penchant for high-quality materials and cutting edge tech.
The lineup of 48G cables offers a massive 48Gbps of bandwidth utilizing four dedicated 12Gbps audio/visual channels. That means owners can take advantage of all currently available and future-deployed HDMI 2.1 features, in addition to professional 10K Ultra HD video. For current displays, the cables support both 8K/60Hz and 4K/120Hz video and all High Dynamic Range formats.
The eARC-Priority cables place audio at the forefront, delivering transfer of uncompressed and lossless high-resolution multichannel audio via eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel), including the ever-popular Dolby Atmos format. It does this using the same design and materials dedicated to data transfer found on the 48G cable, including layers of silver plating applied to long-grain copper conductors and AudioQuest’s direction-control, while upgrading the eARC path.
AudioQuest has injected packaging for both series with easy to read icons and explanations of AudioQuest’s technologies. Pricing runs from $39.95 to as much as $2,199.95, depending on model and length. For more information about all of AudioQuest’s HDMI cables, visit AudioQuest.com.
