(February 14, 2025) Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2025 concluded a landmark edition in Barcelona, setting multiple records and reinforcing its status as the premier global event. With 1,605 exhibitors filling the largest show floor to date (nearly 1 million square feet), the event attracted over 85,000 unique visitors from 168 countries—marking a 15.5 percent increase from the previous year.

Mike Blackman, Managing Director of Integrated Systems Events, described ISE 2025 as exceeding all expectations. “ISE 2025 has surpassed all expectations, setting new milestones in both attendance and innovation. The energy and engagement from our attendees and exhibitors have been truly remarkable. From the dynamic show floor and impactful exhibitor showcases to a content-rich programme, this year’s edition has delivered an unmatched experience. We are excited to build on this success and look forward to welcoming everyone back for another inspiring edition in 2026.”

A key highlight of ISE 2025 was the debut of Hall 8.1, a new space dedicated to emerging technologies and industry advancements. The Esports Arena showcased gaming competitions alongside cutting-edge broadcasting technology, while the Robotics and Drone Arena drew crowds with live demonstrations of the latest automation and aerial innovations. The Discovery Zone provided a platform for startups and new brands to present groundbreaking products, while the AVIXA TV Studio delivered real-time event coverage, expert interviews, and industry discussions.

AV NIRVANA was on the ground, covering the event for all four days of its operation. As a result, we have a heap of content ready to publish throughout the coming week, including exclusive interviews with key brands like Digital Projection, Christie, Focal, Ascendo, MadVR, Moovia, StormAudio, JBL, and Sonos, along with some brands we've yet to cover. So definitely keep tabs on our homepage. We also have some other fun content on the way, ranging from a discussion about HDMI 2.2 with an industry expert to exclusive visits at the Headquarters of two sensational audio brands: L-Acoustics and Meridian Audio.

ISE is an interesting event for a media outlet and forum like AV NIRVANA because its focus is much less stereo, home theater, and integration-centric like CEDIA's annual expo. The majority of the show is dedicated to technologies and professional channels involved in building large entertainment venues, industry verticals that service industries like health and retail, and technology systems businesses can use for a range of needs. That isn't to say those components aren't interesting and touch on much of what enthusiasts ultimately find interesting, but the technological focus is much more dispersed than your typical Audio or Home Theater expo.

To capture ISE's vibe, we've published a dozen or so 60-second YouTube Shorts. All of them are accessible directly below and throughout the first few comments associated with this thread. They're best viewed on YouTube's website or the YouTube app. Give them a watch, a like, and share them with your fellow enthusiasts! Hopefully, these will tide you over until the publishing dam breaks and our full range of content begins to go public.

I wish I could have captured the enormity of the pro-audio segment of this event. It was eye opening!
