Basic info for a newbie

Thanks Iansr. My current setup is minimal activity, server pc and renderer pc are both heavily optimised using Audiophile Optimizer and other methods. Running a convolver will introduce many new processes and threads, that's why pre-convolved files sounds like a good idea if I can stand the pain of processing the music library. Doing this manually/individually would be horrific but there are some SW products like AcourateNAS that perform batch processing.

Even so, it would be interesting to compare the sound of offline convolved files with active convolution. Is it possible to perform offline convolution with AL?
If there is any difference, something is being done incorrectly in one of the methods.

Hi folks, Amazingly it has been 3 years since my last look at AL and many things have moved on. I still want to know if it is possible to use AL to process a batch of music files (offline convolution) or does it only convolve on-the-fly?
