Has anybody watched the recent iteration of the series "Doctor Who"?

As you may recall, "Doctor Who" started way back in 1963 and ran thru 1989. They call that run the classic series.

In 2005, it was rebooted and all subsequent series/episodes are now part of the modern series.

The first of the modern series started in 2005 and the latest of that run, series thirteen completed in 2021.

Now, on disney plus, the 14th season of the modern series will start on May 10th...

I somewhat remember the old black and white episodes and did enjoy them but I have not seen any of the reboot series or what they call the modern series now..

Any thoughts?

I have not but I'm thinking that we will watch this new season. The trailers have been very intriguing.

I will also check it out. Most likely they may be independent from the previous first thirteen seasons.. If not, and it is a continuation, I may have to check it out from the earlier seasons..

The David Tennant and Matt Smith Doctors are the best ones to watch. As far as the latest instalments go, you would do well to watch last year’s episodes, as precursors to the current series.

Thanks for the details. I haven't seen any of the modern versions so will check a few seasons back first..
