Behringuer um2 and rew

Hey guys,

Looking to buy an um2 to use with rew but I've noticed that both inputs are high level so I'm not sure I'll be able to use a loopback for timing calculations. Can anyone help?

The UM2 has one mic/line input and one instrument input. A loopback connection would use one of the outputs fed back to the instrument input, leaving the other input for your mic and the other output for your test signal.

But the instrument is a hi z in... Not sure if it works as it should

That just means it doesn't load whatever is driving it, which is a good thing.
