Bring Home a Subwoofer Beast with SVS's Closeout SB-16 Ultra and PB-16 Ultra Sale!

(October 8, 2024) Home theater enthusiasts, brace yourselves—SVS has announced a massive sale on its former flagship subwoofers, the SB16-Ultra and PB16-Ultra. With the recent unveiling of its new 17" models at CEDIA 2024, the legendary 16-Ultra series is being retired. But before they fade into audio history, SVS is offering these powerhouse subwoofers at unprecedented prices.

When I first reviewed the SB16-Ultra in 2017, I was struck by its sheer power—it’s a beast in every sense. The subwoofer's impressive specs speak for themselves: a massive 16” driver equipped with an 8” edge-wound voice coil—the largest ever used in a consumer subwoofer at the time of its launch, according to SVS—delivering frequencies down to a bone-rattling 16Hz. Powered by a robust Sledge STA-1500D amplifier rated at 1,500 Watts continuous (5,000 Watts peak), the SB16 unleashes deep, room-shaking bass with remarkable control. Its 78mm peak-to-peak excursion and four dedicated toroidal ferrite magnets help to create maximum air movement without losing accuracy. Combine that with a hefty 122-pound build and solid MDF cabinet construction, and the SB16-Ultra delivers performance that's both physically menacing and delicately nuanced.

Now, with the introduction of SVS's new 17-inch subwoofers, the 16-Ultra series is making its grand exit—but not without a final encore. SVS has announced historically low prices on these iconic subs: the sealed SB16-Ultra is now $600 off, and the ported PB16-Ultra is $700 off. Once the last units are sold, they're gone forever. If you've been contemplating an upgrade to your low-frequency arsenal, there's no better time than now. The SB16-Ultra and PB16-Ultra have been dominant forces in the subwoofer world, and at these prices, they're an absolute steal. Don't miss out—once they're gone, they're gone for good.

Just ordered (2) SVS SB16 Sub's at the closeout price and when you go dual they give you another 5% off making this a no brainer.
I don't know how many they have left but I wouldn't wait on this deal because when they sell out it's over.

Also Emotiva had a 20% off sitewide sale but it was only from 10/5/2024-10/8/2024 which flew by quickly.
