Next week, I'll be going to the Bristol show in England, I might take some pics, and see what they have there, it's their 25th year, and I must have gone for about 20, it's one of the biggest in the UK, I won't buy anything, at least that's what I told my wife

I usually find that a lot of the exhibitors are small companies, cables, headphones, discs cleaners etc, but I'll try and take few pics to show you

I went to the show yesterday, even though I enjoyed it, it was different, I noticed that there were less people than last year, and also years ago there used to be more for home cinema, now it's all for two channels and surprising desktop powered speakers, there was only 1 company that showed subwoofers, REL, there used to be more, and also, no sign of B&W, which they always used to be be the stand to go for, no KEF, Arcam, bit there were some new speaker companies, that I've never heard of before, I'll post some pics later on

There was 1 set of speakers that i was impressed the most at the show, Pearl Acoustics, they've a single 4 inch driver, and the connection is just speaker cables, and that's it, but the bass was amazing, the way it's designed, the owner discribed it better than I can remember, it's built using 3.5cm thick french oak, the speakers are very low powered, but you would only use them for 2 channels,very impressed

Really nice! My wife is still researching replacement speakers for her two-channel tubed system. She prefers to have no labeling on the front like those Peals. Cheers!
