(October 21, 2024) Ambisonic Systems by Origin Acoustics used CEDIA 2024 to introduce its first dedicated High-Performance Planar Ribbon home theater system, The Ambisonic Marquee Home Theater. The collection comprises the bi-amped AM5600 L/C/R front speaker, the AM3600 surround, AM2600IC in-ceiling speakers, the AM2600IC angled in-ceiling speaker, AM3600A angled surround speakers, and the AMB5600 10” in-wall subwoofer.
Each speaker features speakers Ambisonic Systems magnetic planar ribbon tweeter and planar ribbon coaxial technologies.
Ambisonic Marquee Home Theater Model Details:
- Front of House — AM5600 LCR speakers are bi-amped and feature a 3” magnetic planar ribbon tweeter with exclusive waveguide, two 5 ½” mid-range, two 8” mid woofers made of woven fiberglass.
- Surrounds — AM3600 Surround speakers with a 3” magnetic planar ribbon tweeter, two 5 ½” woven fiberglass woofers.
- In-Ceiling — AM2600IC Angled In-ceiling speaker can be positioned toward the listening area and features a 1 ½” magnetic planar ribbon tweeter and an 8” coaxial planar ribbon. It’s designed to complete the system and fits into the standard Origin Acoustic 10” cut-out.
- Height Channels — AM3600A Angled Surround speakers that can be used as a height speaker or rear surround speaker and features 1 ½” magnetic planar ribbon tweeter and an 8” coaxial planar ribbon.
- Subwoofer — AMB5600 Subwoofer delivers maximum power and efficiency and features dual 10” fiberglass woofers. At less than 4” deep, it easily fits into standard stud walls.
Ambisonic's Marquee speakers and subwoofer are made of "premium and durable extruded aluminum," except for the AM2600A, which is made of MDF and is available in both slim on-wall and discrete in-wall configurations.
