REW Beta Release Distorsion issue for the same mdat file under tow differents laptop.

Hi, I realized that the distortion measurement of the initial measurement with a Umik-1 is different depending on the use of the same mdat file on another PC. For example, if we measure a distortion lower than 2% and save the mdat file in the pc. If we open the same mdat file on another PC, the distortion curve is no longer the same and is generally higher. is there a trick?

It should be exactly the same if the control settings for the distortion graph are the same.

Bonjour , ce n'est pas la première fois que je le constate. Je vous suivrai une photo de l'écran avec la distorsion sur le pc qui a fait les mesures et le mien . Le paramétrage des contrôles du graphique sont les mêmes en pourcentages . Je vous joindrai aussi le fichier mdat

Merci. J'avais déjà lu le manuel, et l'explication n'est pas claire à mes yeux pour cette mesure pour le canal LFE . On a une très grosse différence de mesure ( avec la case validée " Use Harmonic Frequency as ref " ) pour une mesure de la distorsion du LFE ( Sweeps 256kO jusqu'à 300Hz) . Quelle est votre recommandation, et, si vous aviez quelques explications , MERCI par avance .

The level of the harmonics is affected by the response of the system at the harmonic frequency. When the response isn't flat, which is the case for acoustic measurements, the "Use harmonic frequency as ref" option accounts for that effect.
