I've just pulled a customer's Emotiva xlr balanced cable out of his Threshold S3 amp. Unfortunately the cable has no identifying model number. The xlr shell is 1-2 mm thicker than my other xlr connectors, causing the socket release button to hit the shell before releasing the lock. My editorial comment: why can't the Chinese just stick to what works?
