Emotiva T2, T1 and C2

Finally got the T2 for fronts, T1 for surround and C2 center coming from Emotiva. Should be here in a few days... can't wait to get them all connected and setup... especially for the two-channel experience with the T2's. I am very curious to how well they will compare with the T1's... and expecting them to be at least some better. Should be interesting. Haven't had much time to enjoy my man cave of late... so looking forward to some quality time listening within the next few weeks. I need a full day off to do nothing but audio.

I hope you enjoy the T2's. I am really playing the legs off them here with the E1's as surrounds. It will be the first real review I have seen online. I just wish I had a better room to listen to them in. Heck I even watch the TV through the system it sounds so good (depending on the audio feed).....lol. Just ordered a replacement for a cassette-BTO Not fragile. So another one bites the dust.

I'm also curious to read your impressions... I've heard the speakers but under less than ideal conditions. So I can't really comment on what my ears told me.

Still love my A5's and hope to get the 7's at some point... when they do finally surface. No doubt I swap several speakers in and out quite frequently... I love them all.

Still have them, but they get moved out of the room all along. I just don't know that I can get rid of them, but I like to change things up pretty regularly. Actually just wish I could have about 5-6 rooms with different setups in each and rotate listening in them every night.

Sonnie hasn't been seen since February 24th 2018. Last seen listening to the T2's. The police have been dispatched on a welfare check.

That is as good of an explanation as any other. I was hoping he sent them back so I could snag a pair of b stock T2's.

lol... they ain't going back anytime soon, but neither are the A5's. While it's difficult to say that the T2's are quite up to the task of the A5's... they are a bit more robust in the lower end when there is no sub involved... but otherwise, I believe the A5 is still slightly better. That might not necessarily be the case with every listener though... there is a lot to consider... obviously the room, the equipment, style of music... and placement options among the most significant.

The one advantage the T2's have over the A5's is they have a fine little brother in the C2 center. That center is a beast, and does a marvelous job with dialogue ... one of the best I've heard outside of the Stage X.

I am impressed with the T2's and what Emotiva has done... love their amps and love their speakers. HOWEVER... I am without as of night before last, as I sold my Yamaha CX-A5100 and I don't have anything lying around (first in a long time) that I can plug in temporarily and play. So I may actually go 4-5 days without entering my listening room. Angie is liable to make me go out there and sit a few hours every night... I guess I can take my puter out there. It's actually one reason I have been more active on the forum. Take my room away from me, and you have to put up with my slobbering on the forum.

Waiting for the new NAD T 758 V3 to arrive... and I may pick up an Anthem AVM60 as well. I really need another room.

Well that speaks volumes for the Chane A5 which is actually cheaper than the T2's. Apparently the new A5 will be tweaked to offer just a little bit more musical goodness.

I’ve got the A5rx-c front left and right combined with the A2rx-c center. The A5’s sounds great for music. I only wish I could get more sound out of the A2 when watching movies. I usually have to bump up the dB’d for the center for movies. I thought Chane was supposed to come out with a bigger center channel.

There was talk of an A6 to be their center partner. Haven't heard anything about it lately, but he is touting a LC3 as his latest center. It will have twice the displacement of the A2.4. And physics remains physics...Jon has no let us down yet!

Ooh, I'm interested. Given the lack of progress getting Atmos on the Emotiva XMC, and my recent discovery that the NAD has 7.1.4 processing (already knew about Dirac), that one's in the running for my theater upgrade. Also have been looking at Anthem - probably MRX 720. I'll probably get both and compare.
