Hi John,
first of all; thank you for the nice software, I am a professional acoustician and I am slowly replacing more and more of my measurement work that I do woth dirac, easera and smaart to REW because of the nice interface and completeness of the software.

I have one (easy) feature request which would be a very great addition for the software; the posiibillity to automatcally remeasure and update the same measurement for as long as the user wants.
This is really helpfull when doing EQ-in of large systems and when exprimenting with different positions of acoustical materials; it lets you get a very quick impression of what is going on withtout having to walk back and forth to the keyboard to start a new measurement and remove the last one.

Thanks again!
Kees

There is something like that on the feature request list, but in the meantime using Pink Periodic Noise and the RTA with no averaging is a good way to get a live frequency response update while making changes.

If I may add to this feature request.

It would be beneficial in certain situations to run repeating measurements with some delay in between. Here is the scenario; I currently initiate a measurement with, say 10 seconds delay so I can leave the room or enter the room for that matter. After a measurement is finished, I need to go the laptop running REW and initiate the next 10-seconds delayed measurement and so the cycle continues. This can become inconvenient if one is trying to run a batch of 20 measurements at the time with a 10 second delay in between, as an example. It would be nice to just schedule this setup upfront and let REW to do its thing. For an example;
  1. Schedule a number of measurements one wants to execute, say 20 repetitions.
  2. Set the in-between measurements delay, say 10 seconds.
  3. Start the the measurement; here you could even have an option of choosing how long to wait before initializing the measurement batch.
My 2cents:)
