Any thoughts on this?

I posted this at HTS as well. This looks like the outline of the Cascade Mountains I visited last year in Washington. This is subs only (3 total). using HDMI as well as the Dayton umm6 mic

Red line was 1st measurement-no Audyssey XT32
Green was Audyssey engaged
Blue was two front subs dayton 460HO's moved in from the corners 30"
Magenta was a slight bump of eq to 460HO's ,3db's @ 40hz

I replied at HTS as well. It looks better with Audyssey, but not nearly as good as you could get with a dedicated parametric equalizer.

Any way to move one of the subs around to experiment with the best placement, and to see if it improves the overall response prior without Audyssey?

You might also try adjusting the phase on one sub... or the distance by 3-4ft on one sub, and see what happens to the response. I would do this AFTER Audyssey.

Thanks Sonnie for your feedback. I must have moved my subs 15+ locations today. Everything from swapping front to back, side to side, moving one sub then moving two, etc....etc.I witnessed some horrific looking measurements while doing so. The ones posted were some of the better ones.

I will experiment with the phase and/or distance tweaks tomorrow.

You are quite welcome. When you move them... you may want to try manually adjusting the distance as well. I am not sure how you have it setup, but I think it would be best to have two of the subs equal distance from the main listening position, on one channel, then the other sub on the second channel. Even try firing one or two of them subs into the corner(s).
 
Can't seem to figure out how to measure center channel and/or L/R channel along with subs.

Measuring subs only-I connected subs to left input on receiver. When I connect subs back to sub input on receiver I get zero sound when using REW.

Side note: I see people referencing don't use hdmi 4 for sub measurement. Where are hdmi outputs listed in REW? All I see are 2 separate output boxes, each labeled audio 1 thru 8 under the measurement tab. I've been using output box top, audio 1.
 
If your crossover is set in your AVR and your speakers so small, it should send the signal to the sub as well.

Do you have your computer setup for 5.1 or 7.1 output in the audio settings?
 
Set up as 7.1. Not sure what happened. I ended up exiting REW and restarting. I finally was able to get subs + center to measure. My windows 10 laptop only produced outputs labeled in REW as Audio 1 thru 8. Audio 1=Left, audio 2=right, audio 3=center, etc.

red is no Audyssey
green is Audyssey engaged and center channel (SVS Ultra) crossed @ 70hz
blue is Audyssey engaged and center crossed @ 80hz

Not sure why center performs so erratic when crossed @ 80hz. Like what Audyssey does, though. Crazy spike at 55hz

Something doesn't look right with the blue... hard to say what it might be, but something ain't right.
 
Countless moves of furniture, speakers and subs. This is the best measurement so far. We use the room primarily for movies and tv so center channel and sub alignment is critical.

Blue is un-smoothed center only. Red is subs (3)+ center w/Audyssey engaged. No matter what i did; the peak @ 55 and subsequent drop @ 60 could not be corrected. Not sure what the center channel is doing @ 115 & 130.

That center response is rather odd. That bump at 55Hz might work its way out with some phase adjustment on one of the subs.

Thanks, Sonnie. I'll try some phase adjustments. Not sure it matters but the graph of the center is without smoothing. Don't yet know enough about REW to know exactly what does or does not matter as much.

I adjusted distance (give or take a foot or so) as well as a slight elevation and could not improve upon the center channel measurement. BTW, it doesn't sound bad. Could be better I suppose. Don't know what you don't know applies.
 
You could use 1/6th smoothing to see more likely what you can tell a difference in. That will get you something more realistic.

For distance to make much of a difference, it will need to be 4-5ft at a time. You can try that before trying the phase... basically the same thing.
