(September 23, 2020) In a move that benefits distributors and rewards high-paying customers, HARMAN has created two new JBL Synthesis certifications. The programs, designated as the “JBL Synthesis Certified System” and “Certified Elite System,” can be applied to one of five JBL Synthesis templates ranging in cost from $35,500 to $180,000.
HARMAN's five levels of certification cover JBL Synthesis systems ranging from 5.1.2 channels to 11.4.10 channels, with three variations in between. Each system must be comprised of JBL Synthesis loudspeakers and electronics, backed by layout assistance, system design, and calibration services. Qualified distributors can use the certification program to sell their services and expertise, while system owners will receive a custom laser-etched, two-space rack faceplate that shows off their theater's certification.
According to HARMAN, the Adeo Group in Lavis, Italy is the first distributor showroom to receive JBL Synthesis Elite System certification.
“JBL Synthesis has tremendous momentum in the market today in large part due to the investment of time and resources of elite dealers learning how to deploy and optimize JBL Synthesis systems,” explains Jim Garrett, Senior Director, Product Strategy & Planning, HARMAN Luxury Audio. “These elite dealers are building impressive showrooms, serving their discerning customers with their expertise and supporting them with concierge-grade care. We want to elevate these dealers as the purveyors of JBL Synthesis Certified systems and support their continued success.”
