HDMI Problem sync time

Hello,

i have a problem with my new laptop.
With my old Laptop i could use the hdmi port to make 7.1 measurements with REW. Check levels and the measurement works great. I use the Java driver , all works fine.

Now i have a brand new laptop i couldnt use the hdmi port because of the very slow sync. If i tra check levels the sync is so slow, that i doesnt here a sound. I fi start a measurement the sound from the sweep start around 500hz, because o f the slow sync.
I tried also the ASIO driver, same problem.

Can someone help me please.

System is windows 11 on both units.

You can use the "Play dither before sweep" and "Fill silence with dither" options on the Measure dialog to see if that gets measurements working, though it only adds about 1.3 seconds of initial dither so it may not be enough. You could also try showing your laptop screen on your system so that the HDMI connection is already in use before you start measuring if you aren't already doing that.
