Help interpreting measurement and if it was done correctly?

Hey everyone,

I just setup REW using a Dayton EMM-6 mic and have attached the graph and .mdat file.
Can somebody please assist in helping to understand this and if the actual measurement was done correctly?

Measurement looks fine. Best adjust your graph scales so they have about a 60 dB span, then you'll have something more comparable to other measurements that are posted. That is most easily adjusted using the Limits button at the top right of the graph.

Your soundcard cal looks a little odd, with a 3 dB rise at 20 kHz or so. Was there some EQ active?

Hey John,

I saw that when I done the calibration for the soundcard, nothing active in regards to EQ... not sure why that has occurred.
I might try to do the calibration again and re-do the measurement.

You don't need to redo the measurement, cal files can be removed or replaced using the Change Cal... button on the measurement panel.
