I am currently trying HEOS at home and figured I'd log my experience.
I started with a couple of Denon Home 150 speakers and used my Android phone to set them up. I could not get the first one out of the box to set up. It was already placed in the kitchen and plugged in, so I grabbed the other one and headed to my cubbyhole office. Plugged it in and started the process. However, I actually looked at the back to see the button I was pushing and then realized why the kitchen unit was not connecting to the network. Duh... there are two buttons on the back. The top button is Connect, and the bottom button is for Bluetooth. So... finally got them set and started selecting some music sources. Pretty cool.
I've now moved to the tablet and have the HEOS app set up there. Since it will be plugged in all the time, I'm using a Google app called Screen Alive to keep it live for 24 hours since the last activity.
Yep... Angie seems to like the idea of swapping the sunroom system over to HEOS. She especially likes having music for the cat while we are away from home (imagine that). Now I'll have to order more speakers and the receiver for the back porch.
