How to EQ center channel? (Help)

My plan is to haul the speaker outside and take measurements.
Do I need to worry about the corregated iron fence tha is ~30 feet away? Or is there some gating being used in REW?

my plan is to EQ it doe direct sound, and compare that to EQ recommendations on another forum.
Then I will have som confidence in knowing that I am getting the process right.

You can ignore the fence. Gating is adjusted using the IR windows dialog or by dragging the markers on the Impulse graph.
