I'm happy to find this forum and support page. I hope You can help me.
So, I bought an UMIK-1 mic to somehow measure, then locate a low-frequency noise source nearby my living place. The frequency of the noise (like a constant rumble) may be somewhere around 40-60 Hz, based on my experience with my friend's stereo gear (incl. a sub) and some test tones.
I've already set up the mic (using the calibration file) and my laptop with REW installed on it, but I don't know what is the best setting of the software for this kind of measurement. I found the RTA section and I set up the frequency and SPL range, but there are other setting like "Mode", "Smoothing", etc. which may be important to set up correctly. How can I do that?
Thank You!
