Info on IR Window

Where can I find more detail and reference info on the IR Window settings?

Specifically where can I read about what rectangular, Hann, Hamming, Cosine, Tukey, Blackman, flat-top, and Gaussian are and how they affect things?

Window functions

When windowing the IR the window function is used to choose the part of the response that is to be analysed and smoothly truncate data outside that range.

Ah, thanks... I guess I'm not very good at google search! Searching for most things involving "window" returns many results about the operating system from MS. I wasn't smart enough to search for "window functions"

Trying to determine the best window function to use when importing an IR that was recorded from a wooden clapper. So an actual impulse response that was recorded, could be a hand clap, gunshot, or whatever. I just happen to be using a wooden clapper.

The default Tukey 0.25 is fine, it doesn't matter how the IR was obtained.
