Hi to all, it's my first post here. I've just bought an UMIK-1 for using it with REW. After a bit of searches, I haven't found a clear statement about the input volume setting for that specific mic. Someplace I has read about gain that must be set to 1, in other place it's wrote that newer versions autorecognize the mic and autosetting according to it. In my installation after plug in the mic the value goes to 0.530 and the "Control input/mixer volume" flagged in. It's this value correct or I have to set to 1 or other values? I've noticed the value remains the same I set last time also when I unplug/replug the mic and when closing/restarting REW. So if set 0.8 for example, that value remains the same also when I close REW, unplug the mic, restart REW, replug the mic and REW warn me about the mic autoconf with that known popup. I think this behaviour goes to doing inaccurate spl measures.
Thanks for everyone who will wants to enlighten me about

0.53 is the 0 dB gain setting on Windows 10, fine to use that. Higher values apply gain to the mic data, which means it will clip at a lower SPL.
