Installing x86 version over x64 in windows 10

Im running REW x64 on my laptop and every time i start REW it warns me about me cpu and install x86 version.
I do experience crashes every now and then and i think that's the reason

Is it possible to install x86 and keep everything intact on settings and Asio4All choices
I don't want to start setting it up again from the start...

Settings are common to all versions and are retained unless you choose the option to remove them when uninstalling.
 
I must say though that the crashes are from java but i want to try changing version cause i always had them.

Its the only thing i haven't tried .

So i will just install x86 over x64 .
