Hi, guys, hi, John. I'm taking some measurements with the Mini DSP Ears and having a little trouble getting the system to function at 48 kHz sampling, in Win 10. The Mini DSP requires Java. My Lynx interface is set to internal clock. Every time I try to set REW sample rate to 48k, my interface remains at 44.1 kHz. it does not follow REW, which is not a problem as I can manually set the interface to 44.1 khz. However, every time I come back into the Preferences/Soundcard window, REW displays 48k and I have to manually switch that. Something is a little buggy here.

This is true only in Java. In ASIO I have full and proper control and integration between REW and my interfaces.

JavaSound does not control hardware, it asks the OS for an audio connection to the selected interface at the rate requested in the REW preferences. If the card is set to operate at a different rate the OS will resample. Set the interface to the rate you want to use in REW, e.g. by choosing that rate as the default format on the Advanced tab of the Windows audio properties for the interface.

Thanks. That's the key to getting 48k!
