This config file only works properly when jriver forwards a 7.1 format. Is there a way for you to set up jriver to expand the 5.1 to 7.1?

The other solution is to use a dedicated 5.1 config, which you can generate from Audiolense.

With JRiver, the channel mapping is different depending on selecting 5.1 or 7.1
Take a look at this post, which I think sums up how Jriver maps stuff (although the entire thread is very good).

Note how Jriver swaps channels 5/6 with 7/8 depending on selecting 5.1 or 7.1 mappings.
Also, you should probably make certain that JRSS mixing is turned off.
If your configuration requires something different, you can also use JRiver's parametric equalizer to remap the channels

Problem SOLVED!

Audiolense settings playback format and channel routing: Create new format 7.1 and delete 5.1 and 2.0 settings. That's good! Im happy!
