Klipsch and Marvel Animation Launch Campaign to Celebrate Audio and X-Men '97

(March 20, 2024) Klipsch and Marvel Animation have joined forces to celebrate the launch of a new ten-episode animated series, X-Men '97. Developed to honor the imagery and nostalgia of the 1990s, X-Men '97 follows the exploits of a band of mutants that use gifted powers to protect a world that both hates and fears them. With two episodes premiering today on Disney+, the X-men face a dangerous and unexpected new future.

As the show's official home speaker brand, Klipsch is launching a fun marketing campaign that embraces the X-Men universe. The campaign is already underway, with X-Men characters gracing its website and introducing Marvel fans to Klipsch's arsenal of audio offerings.

Throughout the show, Klipsch will run a series of sweepstakes themed to the collaboration. So, be sure to watch Klipsch’s social channels and website for more details. As a launch day treat, Klipsch has pulled together two curated Spotify playlists that embrace the musical vibes of the 90s. You can find links to both playlists – "Your Gifted 90s Walkman" and "A 90s Metallic Mixed Tape" – at the bottom of this link. I gave the Walkman playlist a listen this morning - lots of familiar tunes!

This is pretty cool. Being a 90s kid I remember watching the original series and loving it. I also have a soft spot for Klipsch, even though I have moved on from all of their speakers. It's kinda neat seeing a joint venture like this.

I'd like to see a limited run of Klipsch speakers skinned with X-men colors and characters/graphics. Obviously, it wouldn't be for everyone (me included), but it would present mega-fans a chance to outfit their media room, perhaps a room dedicated to a collection, with something unique and themed to their liking.

I’ve got a few buddies who would upgrade from TV speakers for something like that. It might get more people started in the hobby!

I know… right?

They did it with McLaren. Those speakers look super sharp. Imagine a true floorstander wrapped in X-Men. It would unique, that’s for sure!
