Is there an existing setting (or a hack/workaround) that would let me capture the same signal sweep file I used to create my convolution filters so I can see the actual results once I've loaded them into Roon?

I'm using a Mac with a USB DAC and UMIK-1.

Using REW signal generator you can record a sweep or noise file. Add the file to roon library. Play it in roon. Measure it with REW.
Using phone keyboard. Sorry if short.

Do I use the Measure tool in REW? I was thinking I set REW output to an alternate (like Macbook HDMI and mute it) and instead play file from Roon instead?

Press the Generator button, set up your sweep parameters... Make sure you include the Timing Reference... Select save to file... Press the disk icon in the lower right to create the actual sweep file in wav format... Make a right and left channel file... Upload these wav files to your Roon library... Play the files with Roon... Turn off any other sound output from your Mac... Measure with REW and UMIK-1...

If you did not use this method to take your measurements to build your IR filters with you may not have a valid test... Having left Roon out of the loop... And possibly moving the mic from the first measurements... If I am being picky...

>>> Ending Freq. in the above example should be set to 24,000Hz for the 48kHz Format <<<
