Medi0gres Grindhouse

My room became a concept in 2012 after i googled home theater looking for ideas on how to tweak my 5.1 setup... Should i buy a Klipsh sub or maybe a Velodyne sub? etc, etc.
Then i ran into you guys and I ate the red pill.

Room Dimensions 20' x 10' 9" x 7' 6"

Sound proofing design goals were to keep outside noise out of theater, Single layer 5/8x walls and ceiling. The ceiling did get whisper clips and channel.
Hvac was isolated with mufflers and hush box.
20 amp breaker for racked gear and 2 -15 amp breakers for lighting and non a/v plugs.

7.4.4 Atmos setup
Denon x4300
Sony str de597 - My first 5.1 reciever, now is being employed to run top rears
Behringer Inukes 6000 non dsp and 3000 non dsp for sub dutys
2 Dayton 18" 460HO-4 and 2 Dayton 18" Ultimax Subs all in DIY 4 cubic' boxes
Behringer FBQ 2496 for dsp
LCR Polk audio RTi A9
Surrounds and height are Volt 6s from DIY sound group - Erich is great, highly recommend!
Panasonic ae8000
Falcon AT Screen 110"
Insteon switches controlling 7 zones
Logitech Harmony Elite remote

And my door... I love my door. 2 ply 3/4" Mdf with 3/4" Mdf trim and rivets with automatic door sweep and 5" wide throw hinges.

There are a few items left on the ole punchlist like grills for my riser, filling and painting a schwack of bullet holes and staining my stage and riser hardwood, but once you put that projector up things get hard.
Thanks for looking, Cheers.

Room looks great! Couple questions: Where is your equipment housed, and your 110" measurement, is that diagonal or width?

Excellent work! Mine is also a narrow room. What I wouldn't give for 2 more feet of width.

Thanks Tony! Ya the floor was cracked, spalled and heaved pretty bad, way beyond floor leveler. It was my own slomo version of War of the Worlds in my basement. The contractor that poured the floor left literal boulders under the slab, in some spots there was only 1/2" of concrete. Once I repoured the hole and cracks I had to grind it out flat. Was not fun and very dusty. I took a pic of the room during the grind. Can you see the subs?

Room looks great! Couple questions: Where is your equipment housed, and your 110" measurement, is that diagonal or width?

Excellent work! Mine is also a narrow room. What I wouldn't give for 2 more feet of width.

I have my equipment outside the room in a narrow hall parallel to the theater, kinda of a hidden space that turned out to be a happy accident really.
Like yourself I was really hung up on the width of my room, based off of all the other theaters i was studying, (down the road) everyone seems to have at least 12'!
My original plan was to eliminate my load bearing wall to gain two more feet and have a "movie watching area" that was rotated 90dgs leaving the the rest of the area kinda open like a rec area. I wasn't aware of dedicated theaters yet, so I built up a 5 ply beam and stuck her in there.
But i was also doing a room by room house renovation so the theater ended being put on hold. A couple years went by with me scratching my head on this architectural mess i made and how to utilize the space for the theater and reading the pro and cons of having the gear in or out i came up with this. It put 2 doors inside my theater but its a great place for storage and access to the back of the rack.
The Falcon screen is 110" width 120" diagonal. I wanted the biggest screen i could squeeze in my room and I have zero regrets going this wide. Its strikes the wife and I with awe every time we sit down. I think it makes the room feel wider than it really is.

Very good setup.

Have you configured LCR as full range or doing bass management with crossover ?
