I know the odds of winning $1.6 billion is astronomical but if you did win, what would you do?

Looks like the winning ticket was selected in South Carolina for the lottery per cbsnews. Good for that person/persons.

If I would have won, I would have gotten a great home theater setup.. Top notch speakers, receiver, projector, screen, TV, etc. :)

Of course, I would have tried to stay hidden as much as possible. lol. :)

One can always dream. :)

Yeah... while I don't gamble in the least, if I did, no one would know about it if I won, that is for sure... not if I could help it. But I'll never have to worry about that.

Imagine all the kinfolk coming out of nowhere to claim their portion. lol

I fellow from Troy, AL actually won the lottery several years ago and he said he never realized just how many kinfolks he had... came from out of state to visit him.

What money can cause some folk to do... really amazing.

Check this out... back when we first got married (1984) ... my wife's dad use to go to Florida to pick up lottery tickets weekly. So for the first few years we were married she would have him pick up some tickets. After Chelsea was born, she would always get our birthdays... month and day... 6 numbers on the ticket. Later we quick buying them because we did not agree with gambling. So... about 6-8 months ago her sister tried to get her to let her buy a lottery ticket for her using those same six numbers, but Angie said no. Well... as it turns out, 5 of the 6 numbers hit. Had she purchased a ticket, we would have won a cool million... and if she had picked the right number out of the 5 for the power ball, it would have been 2 million.

That is amazing Sonnie. Of course, the odds of winning are stacked against everybody but one can always "dream"... :)

Yeah, personally, I think the "fame" etc would destroy any happiness one would get from actually winning something so astronomical such as $1.6B..
