Mic is detected and responds to voice but not generated tones

Hi new REW user here. I'm using a windows 10 PC with a UMIk-1. REW/windows detects the mic and I'm able to load my cal file. I'm able to use the mic in windows and record my voice. In REW if I open the SPL meter and talk into the mic I see the SPL go up. However, when I generate a test time to set the SPL I don't see the meter respond. If I run a sweep I get no measurement.

I thought maybe it had something to do with windows built in noise suppression for mics but I've changed every setting everywhere with regards to this and can't get it working in REW!

What are you using for output? Can you hear the test tones? Please post a screenshot of your REW soundcard preferences.
