You get three guesses, and the first two don't count!

  • 4x 6.5" midwoofers
  • 2x 4.5" midrange drivers
  • MTM mid-high configuration
  • Design prioritizes transient response

Well, I don't seem to be able to get the picture to show. Any help?

I'll take a crack at that pic Tonto.

If these turn out as expected they will be something special at that price point.

Wont it be nice to hear them! Thanks for the pic.

I'm hoping AV NIRVANA can get an early set for review as soon as they become available!

What are we looking at here.. the new Chanes?

no mention of that particular speaker on the Chane site yet, Looks intresting

Todd nailed it...this thing should be a beast. I think we will be the first to do the eval. And I already called dibs on the review pair if they ever make it out of Sonnies theater! Gone is the Planer Tweeter...don't know what will be replacing it but Jon says it will be better! Can't wait!!! Supposed to have better imaging, dig a little deeper, and of course more SPL. Still don't know the $'s though.

L7 of course... and we will definitely be getting a pair. :T

Though there has been one, small, final tweak after that image was rendered. ;)~

The magnetic planar will continue to provide excellent service in the A1.4, A2.4, and A5.4. Jon took a different direction with the L-Series. Not to address any fault or shortcoming of the planar tweeter, but, simply, to have an excuse to use another truly excellent tweeter. It, also, delivers the goods.

Tonally, It wouldn't be unreasonable to say that some mixing and matching between the two lines, especially with surrounds, could occur with great success.
