Rear Infinity Primus P160
Subwoofer : Velodyn VX-11 ( 2 subwoofers)

Minidsp 2x4 HD
UMIK-1

Connections are done.

Everything works well without the minidsp. Once the mini dsp is connected, I am having some issues.

Checked Minidsp - the crossover is bypassed. ( Straight line ) , The receiver is in stereo mode.( 2 channel )

during checking the levels soundcard in REW preferences, the sound is coming from the main speaker rather than the subwoofer.

Also when we take measurements, when we sweep ,the tone is coming from the main front speaker rather than the subwoofer. I also noticed that my subwoofer goes into standby mode when I turn on the mini dsp.

Is there something I have not checked in the receiver ? Please advise - thank you again

the sound is coming from the main speaker rather than the subwoofer.
Some AVRs bypass the subwoofer when switched to stereo mode.

Thank you Wayne , so should I leave it in the regular surround mode ?

As per the room correction Audessy , my speakers are set to

Front - Large
Center - small
Surrounds - large
Rears- small

Should I change all of them to small ?

Check the manual to see what it does in stereo mode. You should be able to measure the subwoofer in surround mode, as well as the center channel, if you’re interested in that. Stereo mode could be used to measure the front L/R, but you wouldn’t be able to measure the rear speakers.

If you’re using HDMI connections from the computer to the AVR, you should be able to measure any individual channel.

Wayne
