New to REW. Please help.

I have never used REW. I recently bought umik1 and minidsp. I have dual SVS subs and would like use to minidsp. I have been watching videos and doing the research online. I am confused as to how should I measure the subs. Do I need to unplug the main speakers before doing the measurements? Is there docs or videos I need to look at?

There are many online resources. I went to many, watched a lot of videos and read articles and it was just above my head!! So I had a remote tune done with AZ Tuning just last night and the system is FAR BETTER. They remotely connect to your computer and do their wizardry from there. Talk to them about prices, etc.Find them on FB.

I tried to join az tuning group on fb but it is still pending.. Do you have their contact info?

I contact them w/PM's through that group so you'll need to wait until you'e been approved.

I am still waiting for them get to approve me for their group. In the meantime, I tried to use the software and I cannot get the sound to come out of the subwoofer and I am about to give up.

I see you have a Marantz processor/AVR (model ?)

Do you have a UMIK microphone?

Have you downloaded FlexASIO for your computer/laptop?

If you connect your laptop to an HDMI input on your Marantz, select that input and measure via REW.

It is generally best to measure via Stereo on your AVR with the crossovers setup, distances set, etc. This captures your subs and mains together and the integration between the two. Measure left channel, then right.

Have you run Audyssey on your Marantz?

Yes, I have a Marantz 6013. I also have outlaw monoblocks connected to the avr for LCR.
I am using Mac for REW so I don't think I need to install flexASIO?
I will give it a try in stereo. Yes, I have run Audyssey.
I have a input 1 of minidsp connected to subwoofer1 preout and I have output 1 and output2 connected to the subwoofer 1 and 2. Is that the right setting?
I even unplugged my sub and I could still some wierd graph so I am pretty sure it is not measuring the sub. I tried moving sub and same results.

The thread you shared doesn't have any link to the guide. I will try with Chrome now.

The miniDSP default settings have a LPF & HPF employed and without disabling those at least one sub will be quiet. AZ Tuning can do the tuning for you - go to FB and find the SVS Sub & Speaker Enthusiasts Group. Post there that you'd like to get a tuning from AZ Tuning and they should find you. Or PM that group's member Zachary Faley (the "Z" of AZ tuning). Note that they don't teach tuning, they perform the tune and you can follow along and ask questions, but it's not meant as a tutorial.
